ELA B10: Welcome back! We will be starting the novel Of Mice and Men this week. No homework for tomorrow!

ELA B30: We will be starting our sheets on Figurative Language. The PX2 workshop starts tomorrow.

ELA A10: Finish your reading and questions for Chapters 20-23. We will mark these questions on Monday. You also need to finish your language study sheets for Monday as well. Remember your final exam next Thursday!

ELA 20: We will review for our final on Monday and students can ask any questions about the review sheet itself. If we have time, we will finish watching the movie on Monday but those of you who need to finish typing your essay will have to do so on Monday.

ELA A30: Finish reading Sgt. John Wilson for Monday and do sheet #9. You also have language study sheets to finish on Parallel Structure and Faulty Subordination. Have these done for Monday as well.

ELA A10: You will need to read to the end of Chapter 19 by tomorrow as well as complete all of the questions for Chapter 6-19. Final exam reviews were handed out on Wednesday, so please look this over and ask me any questions concerning the exam before your final next Thursday.

ELA 20: Typing time for your essay will be given tomorrow. If you think you will not complete your essay during class time, then either plan to do some of it ahead of time, or plan to work on this during your spares or noon hour.

ELA A30: You will need to read the entire book for Monday. There are sheets #8 and #9 for these pages to complete as well. Language study will be corrected during Friday's class. A review for your final next Tuesday was handed out this week.

ELA A10: Formal essay on Fire in the Sky is due tomorrow. Typing time will be given in Tuesday's class. Final exam will be on Thursday, January 26.





ELA 20: Formal essay on To Kill a Mockingbird is due on Friday, January 20. Tomorrow will be your last chance to work on this in the classroom. Typing time will be given on Friday. Final exam is on Friday, January 27.





ELA A30: Read to page 121 of Sgt. John Wilson for tomorrow and do sheet #5. Hand in those essays!! Final Exam will be on Tuesday, January 24.

ELA A10: Your formal essay on Fire in the Sky is due on Tuesday. You should be done writing it and be ready to have it peer edited on Monday. Read Chapter 4 and 5 of The Giver for Monday. We will correct the questions for Chapters 1-5 on Monday as well.

ELA 20: Continue working on your formal essay for To Kill a Mockingbird which is due on Friday, January 20. You need to be prepared to have your essay peer edited on Thursday, January 19.

ELA A30: Essay is due today. If you hand in Monday, you will lose one late mark!

ELA A10: Formal essay is due on Tuesday, January 17. Complete your pre-reading assignment for The Giver by Thursday, February 12.

ELA A30: Formal essay is due on Friday, January 13. Be sure that you have read to page 87 in Sgt. John Wilson for Friday.

ELA A10: No homework

ELA 20: Complete the questions for Chapter 28 of TKAM. We will correct these on Tuesday. You can start the questions for Chapters 29-31 but they will not be due until Wednesday.

ELA A30: The essay deadline is Friday, January 13. Keep working on this. You must have it proofread by a peer editor and hand in all pre-writing for this essay. Read to page 64 of Sgt. John Wilson for tomorrow.

ELA A10: Finish your language study sheets on comma splices and run-on sentences for Monday. Complete your journal entry for Monday as well.

ELA 20: Read the rest of Chapter 28 for Monday. Finish the sheet on subject/verb agreement for Monday.

ELA A30: Read to page 46 in Sgt. John Wilson - do not read any farther than this! Your formal essay is due on Friday, January 13.

ELA A10: No homework today.

ELA 20: Finish the questions for Chapters 25-27 of TKAM for tomorrow. Start reading Chapter 28. You will have some time to finish this tomorrow. Remember to complete your journal entry that was due today - and is now late!

ELA A30: Start your outline for your essay on The Luck of Ginger Coffey. You need to pare down your thoughts and examples to match each point of the essay. Your deadline for your essay is January 13.
